Affiliate Agreement

This agreement describes the terms and conditions for participation in Otaku Thread’s affiliate program. In this agreement, the term "Affiliate" refers to you (the applicant). By applying to this affiliate program you are confirming that you have read the agreement and agree to the terms and conditions.

Commissions

For a sale to generate a commission to an Affiliate, the customer must complete the order form and remit full payment for the product. Commissions will only be paid on sales that are made when the customer clicks through qualified, correctly structured Affiliate links or use your code. Properly coded links are the sole responsibility of the affiliate. Commissions can be viewed on the Affiliate Dashboard. Use of your own code is allowed although you will not be able to earn a commission. Codes are tracked via ip addresses and our systems notifies when personal purchases are made.

Payment

Payments will be made after the first $50 has been accumulated. After that payments will be made bi weekly every other Wednesday. Payments will usually be made via paypal, participants may also request store credit instead.

Refunds

In the event a customer requests a refund for a transaction for which the Affiliate has earned commissions, any commissions earned on the refund amount will be deducted from the Affiliate’s balance.

Usage and Obligations

Affiliates may post their links on social media pages as well as social link builders such as linktree, beacons, or any other site they may use. Affiliates may not however spam their affiliate links. This includes and is not limited to spamming forums, social media accounts, youtube channels, or email marketing with your link. If an affiliate is caught doing so we reserve the right to terminate the account with no further pay.
